
Bob Barnebey
Bob has been President of Amcon Controls since 2002. While he likes to consider his role primarily technical, there are many business management and sales duties that consume his time. Bob has worked in wholesale distribution and contracting since 1984 and has experience designing and fabricating control panels for various applications. He also oversees the AutoCAD and technical sales areas of the San Antonio branch.
He is an active member of Controls Group North America (CGNA), American Society of Heating, Refrigeration, and Air Conditioning Engineers, Inc. (ASHRAE), Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA), and the San Antonio Building Engineers (SAABE).
Bob earned an Associate Degree in Microcomputers for Business from Del Mar College in Corpus Christi, Texas, and a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio, Texas. His certifications include: Johnson Controls Legacy N2, Facility Explorer FX, Honeywell LCBS, WEBS AX, and Tridium Niagara AX Controls.
In his spare time, Bob enjoys aquarium reef keeping, the outdoors, boating, fishing, hunting and traveling with his wife.
Sam Aguilar
Sam joined the Amcon Controls team in 2015 but has an extensive customer service background in the controls industry. Joining the US Navy Fighter Squadron VF-51 in 1975, Sam worked on the navigation and bombing systems for the F-4 and F-14 aircrafts. Upon leaving the Navy in 1980, Sam married his middle school sweetheart and went to work for Johnson Controls, then Ward Systems assisting contractors with their control needs.
Sam is a proud father of 3 and enjoys keeping up with sports, barbecuing and spending time with his wife, kids and 6 grandkids.
Albert Braddick
Albert has been working at Amcon/Complete Controls since 2000 and has nearly 15 years of experience working in the HVAC controls and control applications industry. His exposure to the HVAC industry came at an early age when he "unwillingly" helped his dad in his small contracting business.
As Inside Sales and Technical Support Representative, his responsibilities include the quoting and packaging of fully engineered jobs, generation of job-specific AutoCAD drawings, and start-up and commissioning of the completed installation and end-user training.
Albert's specific expertise includes factory training on Johnson Controls' Metasys DDC (ASCs, DX9100, N30, M3 Workstation, etc), and Tridium certification for the FX20/40/60 platforms. He is also versed in ASI Controls and Honeywell LCBS. Albert also enjoys attending his two daughters soccer games with his wife.
Tim Champine
Tim is the Branch Manager at Amcon's Austin location where he is responsible for developing business in new markets.
His extensive 40 years of experience in the controls industry includes: commercial and industrial controls, system design and engineering, contracting, installation, programming and commissioning and sales and service to the HVAC industry.
Tim has his systems certifications from Honeywell, Johnson Controls and Siebe Controls. Tim received his Associates Degrees in Computer Application Software from Del Mar College. He does extensive training with contractors providing solutions and teaching problem solving skills.
His interests include traveling, hiking, kayaking, camping and telling epic survival stories to put the fear of bears and other critters into to the hearts of kiddos everywhere and generally enjoying fresh air and sunshine in the great outdoors.
Brande Cheek
Brande is the latest to join our Amcon Team at our Houston Branch. She comes aboard with 28 years in the HVAC business (she started when she was 8) with 20 doing controls wholesale. With vast experience and knowledge, she has held many positions with previous HVAC employers including Counter Sales, HR/accounting, inventory controller, and outside sales. She has gained extensive knowledge in valve and damper sizing, pneumatic controls as well as Honeywell and JCI EMS systems.
In her free time she enjoys her two dogs and one cat, shopping, cooking, reading and travelling.
Daniel Garcia
Daniel joined Amcon Controls in 2010 after several years working as an electrician. As a Counter Sales Representative for Amcon's San Antonio location, his responsibilities include assisting customers with questions regarding parts, orders and shipping and receiving. He likes long walks on the beach with himself at noon.
Joey Holmes
Steve Hudson
Steve has over 30 years of experience in the HVAC industry including his time with Amcon/Complete Controls starting in 2006. As Houston’s Area Manager, Steve’s primary duties include driving business, managing customer relations and overseeing branch operations.
Steve is a member of the Air Conditioning Contractors of America (ACCA) and the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). In his spare time he enjoys cooking, fishing, camping and spending time with his children.
Adam Martinez
Adam joined Amcon in 2009 in our San Antonio branch as a counter salesman helping customers with questions regarding parts and orders. He since has had differing roles including Outside Sales in Austin for a time. He is currently working for corporate in San Antonio to assist in needed areas as Amcon expands.
He has a Certificate in HVAC from Everest Institute. In his spare time, Adam enjoys riding his motorcycle, swing dancing, playing the guitar and singing.
Brad Messinger
In 2009, Brad started with Amcon Controls and established and managed a storefront in Louisiana that serves the Gulf South region. In the Fall of 2014 he returned to Texas and currently works as Inside and Outside Sales in our San Antonio and Austin locations. An avid hunter and fisher, Brad proudly served in the U.S. Army.
Crystina Page
Crystina is the branch manager for the Louisiana Gulf South Area. She has over 20 years’ experience in the Commercial HVAC/R and Automation wholesale distribution with Procurement and Inventory control.
She has over 5 years of field experience with the Johnson Controls Metasys System with programming and commissioning for HVAC field applications. She has certificates from the Johnson Controls Institute for Programming and Commissioning along with a HVAC/R from Delgado community College. She also has won the Johnson Controls Merit Award and Chairman’s Award of Excellence for the Integrated Procurement Suppliers Program.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family with her interests in fishing and attending NHRA and Nascar races.
Brandon Ryan
Brandon joined Amcon in 2010 as a programmer. He is responsible for assisting customers with field technical support regarding programming, software and other DDC operations. Brandon holds a bachelor’s degree in computer science from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
